Lawrence Mendler shared his story. He worked in the block house during Mercury and Gemini launches.
We hope to assemble an exhibit to be shown at a variety of museums, remembering the hundreds of thousands of unknown Americans who helped the country reach for the moon. This includes people who worked on all aspects of the program, including robotic missions, satellites and all other NASA (and contractor) projects.
