Will a room on the International Space Station be named for Stephen Colbert?

NASA is holding an online poll to name a new room on the International Space Station. NASA’s poll suggests more traditional names, like “Earthrise” and “Serenity.” However, comedian Stephen Colbert is asking his fans to write in the name “Colbert”.

Could he win? Perhaps. Would the room actually be named “Colbert”? Probably not. Although NASA is taking a poll, it reserves the right to make the final decision on naming the room.

At last count, “Colbert” was doing very well. I think the current name, Node 3, is sufficient.
