What to wear to the moon?
Moon suit: old-style
The next Americans to walk on the moon will wear spacesuits designed by a Houston company, Oceaneering International Inc.
Oceaneering will work with other firms in designing and producing these spacesuits—including ILC Dover, which designed Apollo spacesuits, and David Clark Company, which created the Gemini spacesuit.
Oceaneering will begin work immediately, although the $180 million contract has not yet been finalized.
