Apollo astronaut: global warming not caused by people
Schmidt on global warming: It's not our fault.
Harrison Schmidt, a geologist astronaut who walked on the moon in 1972, is appearing at a conference that dismisses global warming as a myth.
Schmidt, who’s spoken on the topic before, is quoted as saying: “I don’t think the human effect is significant compared to the natural effect”.
Rusty Schweikart, an astronaut from Apollo 9, has been warning about another issue: the danger to earth from a possible impact from a wayward asteroid. Word is, Schweikart is against an asteroid impact…even if it’s a natural phenomenon.
